The Jewish Poets Collective

Hello and welcome to the Jewish Poets Collective, an online space for Jewish poets and allies that offers poetry readings, a safe and laidback workshop environment, and information that will support and inspire Jewish poets.

All Jewish poets are welcome and are encouraged to share their work, whether it’s specifically Jewish in content or not; this is a space that embraces the diversity within the Jewish community and encourages participants to support one another.

The Jewish Poets Collective began as the Elul Poetry Reading Challenge on Instagram, which was created to support Jewish poets who have been pushed out of literary magazines and poetry organizations since October 2023. Now the community that began in Elul can continue, and I hope you’ll join us.
