Lisa B (Lisa Bernstein) is (in no order of importance!) a jazz singer, psychic, and poet who lives in Oakland, CA. Her most recent, and third, book of poetry is God in Her Ruffled Dress and she’s been a featured poet with the Elul Poetry Reading Challenge and Jewish Poets Collective. I am so excited that she agreed to be part of the Her Verse, Her Story: Four Women Poets, in honor of Women’s History Month. She will be joining Susan Comninos, Donna Spruijt-Metz, and Lauren Martin for this reading on March 16.
Lisa often combines her talent for writing with her talent for singing, and her poems set to song can be heard in the audiobook version of God in Her Ruffled Dress.
