In just a few days, Eric Fischman will be reading his poetry in a live, virtual reading.
Eric grew up Orthodox in New York City and now lives in Colorado as a secular Jew with a strong and proud Jewish identity. The majority of his poetry written in the past couple of years addresses the existential threat facing Jewish people in America and Israel.
Many Jewish people, in and out of the creative fields, have faced increasing antisemitism and exclusion from the communities in which they believed they were a part of, and my hope is that we can come together in support of one another as Eric shares his poetry with us.
