Lauren Martin is an East Coast raised, Oakland, CA based poet and psychotherapist. Her first book of poetry was recently released by SheWrites Press, and is titled Night of the Hawk. Lauren’s poetry is an open and honest exploration of what it means to be an older woman, her shamanic practice, and her Jewish identity, as well as other themes.
